Even with the global economic situation, New Jersey’s trade with Italy remains relatively stable. In 2008, New Jersey’s trade with Italy was $1,372,294,855 of merchandise, making Italy the State’s 6th largest export market.
New Jersey’s top five exports to Italy were: 1) Natural Pearls, etc; 2) Mineral Fuel; 3) Misc Chemical Products; 4) Industrial Machinery including computers; and 5) Optic and Photo Equipment.
