Air Travel
New Jersey has two international airports – Newark Liberty International Airport and Atlantic City International Airport. Newark Liberty International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United States. Newark Airport is just 15 Minutes by Train from downtown Newark, 30 Minutes from NYC and 66 Minutes from Trenton. Two other major airports in the New York metropolitan area (John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport) also serve New Jersey and are easily accessible by train, bus and or livery car service. Teterboro Airport, Millville Municipal Airport and Trenton-Mercer Airport typically serve smaller business and private airplanes.

General information
The best way to travel in New Jersey is by car. New Jersey has an extensive network of intrastate and interstate highways and toll roads. The public transport system also makes it effortless to get around the State between major cities. Train, bus and ferry services are offered in many areas of the State. It is best to purchase a ticket before boarding a train, as ticket surcharges will apply for tickets purchased on the train. Train tickets can easily be purchased at the ticket counter and/or at self service ticket machines. City information Newark: Newark is second in the U.S. to New York City in the proportion of households without an automobile. Newark is extensively served by mass transit.

Trenton: Public transportation within Trenton and to nearby suburbs is provided by train and bus service.
